How it works

Enter, compare, review

Add your dog's allergens and pick a food or treat. We match each label ingredient against our dictionary and show what overlaps.

  1. Add allergens

Search our dictionary for the allergens in your dog's test results or vet notes. Blood test, saliva test, or elimination diet — they're all entered the same way.

    Example
    Search allergens: chicken meal

‘chicken meal’ → saved as Chicken

    • ChickenElimination diet
    • BeefVet's opinion
  2. Compare the label

Search for a food, or scan a treat's barcode or ingredient list. We split the label into ingredients and match each one against our dictionary.

    Example

    Ingredients

chicken meal (Overlap), brown rice, chicken fat (Overlap), oatmeal, duck meal (Cross-reaction (estimated)), dried beet pulp, flaxseed

  3. Review overlaps

See which allergen each ingredient matches, and whether it's a direct match or an estimated cross-reaction.

    Example

This compares the allergens you entered with the label. It's not a diagnosis — talk to your vet before changing your dog's diet.

    Sample dry food A

    Contains flagged ingredients
    • ‘chicken meal’ on the label matches ‘Chicken’ you entered.
    • ‘chicken fat’ on the label matches ‘Chicken’ you entered.
    • ‘duck meal’ may cross-react with ‘Chicken’ (estimated).
